GERARD NOCERA
Managing Partner
Bio
Gerard T. Nocera serves as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Resolution Real Estate Partners. He is responsible for strategic planning, real estate management, leasing and construction, and acquisitions and dispositions. Since the formation of Resolution Real Estate, Nocera has worked on the highly successful purchase, management and sale of 1372 Broadway with Starwood Capital and the acquisition, redevelopment and sale of 142 West 36th Street and 234 West 39th Street with The Davis Companies. He also worked on the notable asset the Lipstick Building, 292 Madison Avenue and 183 Madison Avenue.
He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for SL Green where he worked for over 16 years. He was primarily responsible for building the company’s management, leasing, construction and marketing departments. He was instrumental in designing and implementing the Companies transformation from a small side street, Grade B Office Leasing and Management company to the largest publicly traded owner of Manhattan office space. He oversaw an office portfolio in excess of 25 million square feet and led construction projects including major repositionings of 485 Lexington Avenue, 750 Third Avenue, 100 Park Avenue, 1250 Broadway and 317 Madison Avenue. He also worked on over $7 billion of acquisitions and dispositions.
From 1984 to 1989, he was a broker with the NY office of Coldwell Banker (currently CBRE) and worked as a Landlord Representative for the Cohen Brothers, a prominent New York landlord. Mr. Nocera holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Duquesne University.
ANTHONY MCELROY
Managing Partner
Bio
Mr. McElroy has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been involved in the acquisition and asset management of over $2 billion of real estate comprising 11 million square feet in over 30 properties. He has a broad-based background with expertise in acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, due diligence, financing, development, deal structuring and financial analysis. He has a proven investment track record having achieved significant returns on real estate investments and has successfully partnered with several institutional equity investors throughout his career.
Mr. McElroy has worked with some of the premier real estate owner/developers in New York including S.L. Green Realty Corp., Fisher Brothers and Olympia & York. While at S.L. Green Realty Corp., he played an integral role in the emergence and growth of the company in the New York City real estate market including initial public offerings that raised over $600 million.
LAURA AMMIRATI
Director of Property Mgmt
Bio
Laura Ammirati brings nearly two decades of experience in building operations and commercial property management to Resolution Real Estate Partners, a member of NAI Global. Having joined the Resolution team in 2018, she oversees a diverse portfolio of commercial assets, comprising more than 2.5 million square feet of Class A through Class B and C office properties.
Prior to Resolution Real Estate Partners, Laura was with CBRE, where she was responsible for tenant relations, construction, and maintenance for a nine-building portfolio, notable for such high-end tenants as Chanel, and INVESCO, among others. Earlier in her career, she worked for Boston Properties, where she was part of the management team of 153 East 53rd Street, i.e., Citigroup Center, and the General Motors Building at 767 Fifth Avenue.
Laura currently is responsible for 23 commercial office and mixed-use properties that include such prominent assets as the McGraw-Hill Building at 330 West 42nd Street, 251 West 30th Street, 720 Fifth Avenue, 320 Fifth Avenue, 271 Madison Avenue, 228 East 45th Street, and 32 Union Square.
Industry-wide, Laura is recognized as an innovator who is able to provide best-in-class oversight of both high-end and value add properties. Her expertise in building operations and in-depth understanding of local laws, codes, and regulations, combined with an unerring ability to navigate the nuances of tenant relations are among the reasons she is an invaluable member of the Resolution team.
Laura Ammirati holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland.
ERIK CAIOLA
Director of Construction
Bio
Erik has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry. Recognized as a leader in the construction management process, he is able to quickly understand the client’s design concept and infuse it with his highly-effective construction management style, material sourcing and financial management expertise. Mr. Caiola oversees budgeting, scheduling and coordination of major construction projects from design development through completion. Erik consults with the Architect, Engineers and owners to determine construction practices and methods which offer the best value in.terms of cost and schedule.
Mr. Caiola joined Resolution in 2016 as their Director of Construction. Prior to that, his success in the industry was focused on the general contracting side as purchasing agent and account executive for a large interiors firm here in New York City. Mr. Caiola has held many different roles over his years of service in New York providing him with diverse experience in all aspects of the construction industry. He has also worked with all sizes of companies to complete various projects in and outside of the city. A partial list of companies that he has worked with includes Ralph Lauren, SL Green Realty Corp, Deutsche Bank, Converse, Nike, Stuart Weitzman, Amazon, and Vornado. Mr. Caiola Has also worked with some of the premier architecture firms including Gensler, Moed de Armas & Shannon, MKDA, TPG and many more.
JEFFREY ZUND
Exec. Director / Head of Leasing
Bio
Jeffrey Zund is an Executive Director / Leasing with over 30 years of experience representing a multitude of office, retail and industrial clients in the acquisition and/or disposition of several million square feet of commercial space throughout New York City and Long Island.
Prior to joining Resolution Real Estate, Jeff was an Executive Managing Director at Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors, and a Principal at Kenneth Zund Realty Associates, Inc., a Manhattan based commercial real estate firm founded by Jeff and his father in 1985.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has been involved in such notable transactions, including leasing at 100 Avenue of the Americas; 43,000 square feet at 200 Madison Avenue, 34,000 square feet at 303 West 10th Street and 28,000 square feet at 22 West 34th Street as well as the sale of 206 East 63rd Street.
His clients have ranged from mid-sized New York based firms to large national corporations, institutions and foreign governments which include Mesirow Financial Services, Ameriprise Financial Services, Mercer Financial Services, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Government of Jamaica, The Government of the Republic of Gabon, The Government of Haiti, The Aspen Institute, Kirkus Media, Caribbean Tourism Organization, Spears & Imes, LLP, Strategic Insight Mutual Fund Research & Consulting, Inc., Two Sigma Investments,LLC, Cooley’s Anemia Foundation, Dress Barn, Inc., Zoni Language centers, and National Television of Spain. Jeff maintains long term, exclusive relationships with many of his key clients.
In addition, Jeff represents landlords in the leasing and re-positioning of commercial properties throughout New York and has represented the ownership of properties such as 256 Fifth Avenue, 587 Fifth Avenue, 271 Madison Avenue, 23 West 16th Street, 236 West 40th Street, 20 East 46th Street, 151 West 46th Street, 155 West 46th Street, 206 East 63rd Street, 250 East 63rd Street and 355 East 72nd Street.
